Friday Night Fun

Chatham stayed Friday night with us while his parents had date night!  Lauren and Chatham are like yin and yang sometimes and like oil and water at others.  This was a yin/yang moment.
That turned into oil and water because Chatham decided he wanted to sit on the arm rest where Lauren was and she wouldn't let him...so he pulled her over.
And after eating a chocolate chip cookie, Lauren forced him to pose for a picture for me!
The turkeys had fun.  They had a sleepover in Lauren's room in their sleeping bags and were up around 7:45 on Saturday.  They agreed on cinnamon rolls for breakfast (yea!) and then didn't want to separate when Carrie and Devin came to get Chatham.

Fall Fun

October 28--David blew a quarter of his back yard into 1 enormous pile for us to play in...Buster included!  Happy Buster!

 I found him!
 Look how deep it was!
 Just a great shot!

Trick or Treat!

Trick or Treat 2012~2nd Annual Donley Party
We trick or treated with our friends again, but the party expanded to include Carrie's neighbors, too!  Here are Lauren and Hannah (neighbor), our butterfly and UNC Cheerleader.
Our crew preparing for departure.  We had a picnic in the Donley's garage and we all brought a dish to pass.  It was great!  Harper enjoyed some See-sa time and we shared cheesy hash casserole which she LOVED!  I couldn't shovel it into her mouth fast enough!
Paul preparing glow sticks for the kids.  We use a trailer and put hay bales on to drive around the neighborhood. We had 8 kids and 8 adults this year!  That doesn't count the adults who remained at the house to pass out candy!
Lauren and Hannah before we left.
Harris, Cara, Chatham, Hannah, Lauren (left) and Benjamin and Nick (right).  Mary Grace was missing.

At the door, about knocking down the candy passer-outer!
Lauren and Chatham (the chef) after a long night of TOT!

 Beautiful butterfly!
When we left the Donleys, we had to see the Isenhours, Mamaw and Papaw Workman (but their lights were out), Chatham's Gram and Poppy, and, of course, our FAVORITE Neigh-Neighs!!
