Straight from Florida!

April 24--It was picture day at Abernethy!  The kids were ready for their photos!  Harris, Lauren, and Chatham!  (Cara wouldn't cooperate.)
Some of the kids' friends--Cooper, Mary Grace, and Cristian
Little Miss Toast Face!  (That's what I call her when she has cinnamon sugar on her cheeks after eating.)
April 15--Daddy went out of town with Justin, so the Cadwallders invited us over for pizza and play.  Lauren showed Cara how to do a somersalt.
Lauren and I had a "spa night" where we soaked our feet in the tub to get ready to polish our toes!  We had fun!  Here is Lauren sporting the towel head like I do in the mornings.
April 17--Daddy got back from WV and we raced to the Easter Egg Hunt for our church!  Lauren found a LOT of eggs!  The bush is full of them still!
She got to ride a pony!  Talk about being in heaven!
I was talking to some of the kids from church when Paul yells at me to hurry up!  Lauren bounded into the Easter  Bunny's lap for a photo-op!  Guess she's ready for Disney!
April 22--Paul, Lauren, and I decided to visit Paul's cousin, Jeremy, new wife, and kids who live in Florida.  We stopped half-way (we thought) to take a tour of Savannah.  We got onto a "haunted walking tour" and had a good laugh.  Lauren didn't get scared.  Here was one of the amazing houses!
April 21--Lauren wanted to help clean up.  Here she is making her bed!
Back to Savannah--a picture of Lauren and Paul in front of that amazing house!
April 23--Lauren was so excited that the Easter Bunny found us in a hotel!  Can you believe it?
Stopped at Steak and Shake for the first time!
We made it to Florida!  Lauren chilling by the pool.
We went out to dinner at a place in Tampa called Bern's.  It was a LOT of fun.  We took a tour of the kitchen as well as the wine cellar.  Fun!!
Afterward we went upstairs into the dessert rooms.  Jeremy, Cherie, Paul, Lauren, and me.
 Driving through Florida--Southern Pride!!
The Banana's Foster Cherie and Jeremy order!
My peanut butter and chocolate mousse.  YUM!
 Paul's chocolate, chocolate dessert
April 24--Happy Easter!  After we had a spectacular dinner, we headed to the beach (South Lido) to play around.
 Mommy and Lauren!
Jeremy, Lauren, and Paul during our brief rain

Jeremy has a jet ski.  Here are Cherie's sister and girls, as well as Lauren, ready for a ride.
I took my first jet ski ride EVER with Paul...then braved the waves to take Lauren out by myself!  We had a BLAST!!
 Coming in for the day
The girls trying to cast Noelle's leg in sand
We're having a great time so far.  We'll play around Sarasota on Monday and Lauren's cousins will be here to play, too.  Tuesday is the big day--Magic Kingdom, DISNEY!!!   Lauren got upset before church because she wanted to go to Disney today.  Oh well...one more day to wait!

The First Few Weeks of April

Where has March gone?  This year is flying so quickly!  In March, I participated in the Red Hot Spelling Bee which helps raise money for our education foundation.  Here are some of the AWESOME people with whom I work!
April 1--Logan was selected to participate in his school's living wax museum.  Here is General George Patton, ready to give his speech.  We were so proud!
April 2--Lauren was invited to another birthday party!  This time it was for a co-worker's son's 7th birthday!  Lauren enjoyed being pushed in the swing.
And flying the dragon kite with Ms. Barrow!
Here was the dragon cupcake made for Jesse's party!  Talk about realistic!
Afterwards we were wind-swept to the ball field where Logan's ball teams were celebrating the start of the season with games and inflatables.  Lauren LOVES to play!
April 6--After a long wait, we went to TSC to see the bunnies and chicks!  We had gone before and they were all out.  (Paul was upset.)  Lauren was tickled pink!
Paul was excited, too.
Cheep, cheap! (Yes, I did that on purpose!)
April 8--Harris has been asking, "Aunt Lisa, do you have my booster?" for about 3 weeks.  Well, I had his booster!!  First stop--Gator ride!
We visited the fish, dogs, and cats and the Neigh-Neigh's and took a swing in the hammock!
Playhouse time!  The kids were covered in pollen.
Harris showed Lauren the "blowers" (dandelions) and gave directions how to make the seeds blow.
Lauren did okay.
Cara was upset yesterday because she wants to come home with Lauren and me.  Soon, sweetie!

Shh...we're going to Disney in a few weeks!  We're going to visit family in Florida then head on to see the great mouse!  Lauren doesn't know for certain, but she's pretty sure we're going!  Little turkey!  I can't wait!
