Birthdays, Birthdays, Birthdays!

Harrison's famous question: "Aunt Lisa, do you have my booster?"  I feel like the awful aunt at times because more often than not, no, I do not have a booster for Harris.  I asked Suzy if I could steal him this past Wednesday, so I made sure that Harrison's booster was ready to go!  The two of them were THRILLED!  Lauren was in great spirits.  The ride home was noisy--the two of them talked and sang the entire way--but they had a blast!  They sported sunglasses and hats after freeing their toes of socks and shoes.  (Harris was so excited, though, that he forgot one sock!)
Playing with Lauren's new birthday kitchen.  I got fed a LOT of water, hot dogs, sandwiches, and chips.
We headed out play.  The kids rode "bikes" and had a lot of fun.
Playing ball (note Buster was having a good time hanging with us, too)
We met the Cadwalladers and Donleys for a Wade birthday celebration at Dos Amigos!  Here are Nick and Suzy.
The $11 daquari (which we sent back because it tasted HORRIBLE!).
Lauren flirting with Nick--we are in TROUBLE!!!
The Happy Birthday song
The whipped cream in our faces
Lauren refused to wear the hat, so this was as good as I could do!
Our cake (before being edited...SUZY!!).  They got the cake with the most extra icing for Paul!
What in the WORLD?!  What was this face??

Suzy posted this ONE picture of these two and titled it TRUE LOVE!  We need to watch Lauren with these Cadwallader boys...I don't know who will be the worse influence, but I have a bad feeling it will be the one with the blue eyes and curls...
August 14--Chuck E. Cheese Party!!  The Jett Ride was the loved ride of the day.  Lauren got 2 tickets the entire time because she spent most of her time on this ride!
Harris and Lauren were the biggest riders.
Nate liked riding the horse!
Suzy got a good picture of Lauren smooching on Harris...poor kid!
Jack moved too quickly to let me get a good picture!

A flash forward to crank calls by these girls?

Lauren was a little intimidated by Chuck E. Cheese.  Her friends loved him!

The Ticket Blaster was a newly added feature.  Lauren was terrified of the booth, so Logan got to go in her place.
He scored 750 bonus tickets for our girl!
After her friends left, Lauren decided to eat and smile!
Cara really loves cake!
On the ride home, Lauren decided to wear her crown.
We ran out of time (and patience) to unwrap gifts at Chuck E. Cheese, so we took them home.  Talk about spoiled!
Lauren went through some sort of phase today about putting things on top of her head.
We met up with Nathan for dinner (Daddy's friend).  We found a bouncy ball machine and got one.  She said, "Mommy, take a picture of me in my sunglasses and my bouncy ball!"
And when we got home, we found a present in the mail from Grandma and Grandpa Wade...and the bouncy ball on top of the head.
Happy birthday, Lauren!!

Tweetsie 08-07-10

Daddy had a Saturday off, so Mommy said we were going to Tweetsie to get use of our season passes!  When we got there, it was a LOT cooler in the mountains than it was at home.  We also found that there was a K-9 Dog Show, but these dogs were special.  They were rescued from an animal shelter and trained!  Here are two puppies jumping into the water after frisbees!  They went about 25 feet!

I couldn't believe how cool it was!
We went to the petting zoo and the pig had had babies!  They are so tiny and cute!  I want one, but Mommy and Daddy said NO!
We fed the goats.  Daddy had to push back some of the big goats who tried to take the food from the baby goats.
We panned for gold.  We didn't find anything.  Mommy got upset because I soaked her shorts...
I love the airplanes!
And I love the boats!  (And I didn't put my hands in the water this time!)
My favorite--the ponies!
Daddy had "SUCKER" written on his forehead today and bought me a pink princess cowgirl hat!  I LOVE my hat!
Mommy wanted to paint the stairs, so Daddy bought paint for the walls of the stairs...even I knew that Mommy meant the stairs we walk on!  Here are the walls before the paint...
...and you get to see what they look like tomorrow or Monday because it's dark in the basement and there isn't a light so that you can see how pretty the walls look now!

Mommy will post our birthday celebrations later on!
